Passion in His Work

Louis has always been enthusiastic in all his projects. He aims at doing his best in all his projects. When he was in the University, his lecturers were so impressed with his passion and diligence in his studies that they began searching opportunities for him from their friends.

After school, he landed his first job at General Motors. He worked in the company for 14 years, during which he was promoted to the Production General Manager. This means he was in charge of the whole manufacturing process.

In 1993, he got a chance to work in a different field. He was hired by the Pratt & Whitney: an engineering firm. His input in the company led to his promotion as the President of the firm. This was within the six years of the firm. It is worthwhile to note that the Pratt & Whitney was a subsidiary branch of UTC.

In 2006, UTC must have been impressed by what he was achieving as the President of Pratt & Whitney. He was nominated as the CEO of the conglomerate, and this was the beginning of his glorious career life.

Louis Chenevert is currently working as a part-time financial advisor of the Goldman Sachs. He now has time for family activities as well as his interests like designing yachts.

Enduring Hardships

Every successful person has a story of endurance. Louis Chenevert is no exception. He says that his first job as a GM was very demanding. Although it drained him, he learned something from it. He discovered that if employees were given a chance, they had great ideas on how to propel the firm.
