The Processes of Matt Badiali

Prior to 2004, Matt Badiali had spent the majority of his career working toward becoming a scientist, garnering degrees in earth science and geology from Penn State University and Florida Atlantic University. It was that year, while focusing on his Doctor of Philosophy degree, that he was approached by a friend who was seeking to discover new ways to created better yields for the average American investor. This idea hit particularly close to home, being that Mr. Badiali’s father struggled with investments throughout his lifetime. After accepting his friend’s offer, he learned the intricacies of finance, before kicking off a 10-year career in which he regularly helped his clients to achieve double and triple-digit returns. In 2017, Matt Badiali joined the team at Banyan Hill Publishing, launching the newsletter and advisory service, Total Wealth Strategist, which has already garnered a significant following. He recently sat down to participate in a Q & A session where he discussed a number of things, including his daily processes, as well as his excitement about the prospects of an all-electric world. At 8:00 am, Matt Badiali begins his workday at the office, usually beginning with a session of reading and writing. He regularly checks The Mining Journal, The Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg for information pertaining to the current state of the market. Although Matt Badiali is an avid reader, he prefers to intertwine this form of research with a “boots to the ground” approach. When examining a prospective stock or commodities, Mr. Badiali often chooses to view the progress of the drilling site or mine first-hand. This approach has taken him all over the world, visiting places such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Iraq, Turkey, and Papua New Guinea. His hands-on approach allows him to implement real-world examples that allow him to bring his writing to life. This is important when seeking to make a connection with his audience, as a level of trust needs to be developed. Matt Badiali also disclosed his excitement about the development of electric vehicles, as they are now becoming more popular than ever. While he admits the domination of electric vehicles is still some time away, as the development of the municipal scale battery comes closure to reality, so does the demise of the combustion engine. In his opinion, the upcoming shift will rival the change seen when the world switched from whale oil to kerosene.
